“In the counsels of Government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the Military Industrial Complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists, and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes.”

Dale Webster’s art will be displayed at Le Rustique Restaurant(General Mathenge Dr., Wstlds)from 26th September to 6th November.
"The subject of this exhibition is a glimpse into the people of Kenya. I live in Nairobi and so my choice of subjects to paint is clearly affected by the extraordinary people who make up this city and its surrounding area, however, the people in the pictures are from wholly different backgrounds and regions of this country. The pictures are about closeness, the closeness of the subject to the picture plane (hence the cropped image), and the closeness of the subject to the viewer. It is my hope the viewer feels this contact with each of the diverse individuals portrayed and, especially in view of our recent history, we experience what we all of us share rather than what separates us."
